Yes, that's how you say my name. It's Italian. And awesome. But really confusing at first glance. So there it is.
Now that we have that out of the way, we can begin. (As a note: this post is intended a lot more for the people that are reading this blog that haven't met me before. I mean yeah you can totally read this even if you see me every day, but it probably won't be all that exciting to you. Your choice, though. Don't let me stop you.)
I am a seventeen year-old boy from South Jordan, Utah. I am currently a junior at Bingham High School, and I love it there. This is my first year at Bingham, and it's been great so far. I transferred there because I moved in April, but I only live about 15 minutes away from where I used to live. I used to go to West Jordan High School, and that was great as well. I miss West Jordan a lot, but having the chance to meet so many new people and make so many new friends has been super fun. I've loved it, and because I didn't go too far away, I still get to see my friends from WJ pretty regularly. So that's pretty fun.
As my name might tell you, I'm half Italian. No, I don't speak Italian. Sorry to disappoint you. Actually, I've never even been to Italy (at least not yet). My father was born and raised in Italy, and lived there until his early/mid twenties when he met my mother (but I'll save their story for another post - it's pretty sweet). Both of my parents speak Italian, but somehow every time they tried to teach us, there were always some roadblocks. Ultimately, I still don't speak Italian.
I'm a letdown, I know.
Hmmm... Oh yeah. I guess I could show you a picture of myself. This one's decent.
Although I'm not very good at them, I love sports. I've been playing soccer my whole life, and I've been playing others throughout (although soccer is the only one I've ever played on a real team). I wish I had played more sports competitively growing up, but it is what it is. I love watching sports, especially live. My favorite soccer team is Real Salt Lake, and living within thirty minutes of their stadium has its benefits. I'm not a huge professional football fan, but I really like college and high school football. My current high school is ranked as the best team in Utah, and within the top 25 in the nation at football (and they're pretty good at mostly everything else, too, but that's also for another blog post). Going to those games is always a good time. But that's enough about sports.
Another big part of my life is music. I believe that music is a lot more powerful than the lyrics or melodies can ever tell. I love listening to music. My music taste is pretty... blended? Growing up, I listened to a lot of music from a lot of sources. I listened to the harder punk and rock that my brothers listened to, and I also listened to the brighter pop that my sister and cousins listened to. Recently, I've realized that there is so much good music out there. I mean I've never really been into rap or county or dubstep but every once in a while I'll hear a song in one of those genres and I'll love it. I think I have a pretty good taste in music, but I mean, doesn't everyone think that they have a good taste in music? I won't go too in depth to my music tastes here, because (you guessed it) I'm saving that for a different post (can you see now why I started this blog?).
I have a lot of what you would call "interests", but I don't exactly know how to structure those into well constructed English sentences, so I'll be lazy and list some of them here.
While writing this, I realized that it's really hard to try to describe yourself to someone that hasn't met you in such a way that they feel like they know who you are without writing a book. There are a lot of other things that make me who I am, but I'll end here for now. I hope that you enjoyed this, and you got to know me a little bit better. Thanks for reading!

I am the fourth of five children. I have three brothers and one sister. My parents have been happily married for 26 years. My family's pretty cool. I'm a fan of them.
I know what you're asking, and the answer is yes, we all have Italian names. Pretty sweet, right?
